The Evolution of (Digital) Art
This blog will note my exploration in art, mainly 2D. I had a thought the other day, that it might just be a trend to call digital art today "digital", but I think in the future, (2D) "art" IS (mostly) digital. Visual arts has been evolving not only digitally but online, exposing itself globally and intensely.
Artists are working and collaborating not only within a country, but across countries, continents; interacting visually across cultures. We can take a look at deviantart, or flickr for photography.
This evolution, I think, serves the artists well in their exposure for them or their artworks. It also creates a broader network, of course, amongst the diversely segmented artists. And has created the widest spectrum of art references for artists today.
